Post by Olivia Dubious (de Chagny) on Oct 19, 2007 21:26:35 GMT -5
Name: Olivia de Chagny
Age: 21
Gender: female
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 105 lb
Appearance: Olivia is a young woman of average height being that of only 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighing 105 pounds. Now she was a lovely looking woman with her long silky blonde hair, and bright blue eyes; similar to that of her Uncle Raoul's. Now she had an hourglass shape figure that was more prodominant when she was wearing a corset, but since she is in an Opera House she must at least dress appropriately.
Personality: What could we say about Olivia? Hmmmmmm....She is a very kind-tempered girl who will help out anyone in need just like how her mother was. Though she can be very stubborn and mean when needed to be or when she wants to be.
This girl too was a sweet girl, and some would think innocence was also her charm but it wasn't. Such excellent acting skills she had one minute she could be sweet then turn around strangling you. Though most of the time you'll see her personality be sweet and kind, mainly towards women though. With men it's another story. She'll act bored or well...Annoyed really. All the men truly want to do who have approached her is to make love to her, but she'll have nothing to do with it until she is married.
Wealth Status: Wealthy...Her real title is Viscountess (being the daughter of the Comte)
Occupation: Ballerina
Personal Posessions: Has a cross necklace that she wears almost all the time except during performances, and it was given to her by her mother.
Pets: She has a Siberian Husky at the de Chagny manor named Storm.
Family: Olivia is the daughter of the Comte Philippe de Chagny. Her uncle is Raoul, and she has two aunts in the country parts of France.
History: Olivia was born on October 31, 1860 to Comte Philippe de Chagny and his wife Helena. Now Olivia was only born about 4 months after Raoul was born making her a little younger than her Uncle. Weird isn't it? The niece and uncle at the same age? Still though it didn't seem to bother Philippe or Helena much, actually they gladly took Raoul in after Raoul's father died.
As Olivia grew up Raoul and her were...Well, playmates, but also more like brother and sister than Philippe and Raoul were brothers. At times you'd hear screaming and fighting coming from them, and others you'd be able to hear giggling and shouts of joy or encouragement.
Now, as Olivia was growing up she had three things she truly loved. Two were her Mom and Dad...The other well were her private dancing lessons. She loves to dance and loves the fact that she was supported by both father and mother. Her dream was to become a famous dancer in the Paris Opera House. She also had another type of private lessons which consisted of having vocal trainig. She didn't mind it, but at the age of 12 she stopped completely for either hearing she held no emotion in her voice when she sang or for this...
When Olivia was turning 12 her mother, Helena, grew deathly ill with Scarlett Fever. The doctor did everything he could but still all was lost. Helena died three days before Olivia's birthday which made Olivia even more at grief that her loving and caring mother, who was loved by all, had died right before she turned 12. Philippe now in his grief sent Olivia and Raoul away to go live with her aunt, Raoul's siser.
After a few years, when she was 18, Philippe sent to have Raoul and her come back to the manor which they did. Olivia though did not wish to stay. She had heard auditions were being held for ballet dancers for the almost finished Paris Opera House. Philippe and her discuss the plan and decided to change Olivia's last name using Dubious, her mother's surname, to somewhat desguise her.
Now she is a dancer at the Paris Opera House...Thankfully no one has found out who she truly was, Philippe being the only one who knew her true identity. Yes, being a patron there he was easily able to keep an eye on his daughter.
Participate in the story of the Phantom? Yes
Sample Post: Olivia walked through the dark corridors of the Opera House looking around with interest. The candle holder in her hand that held a lit candle in it only gave off so much light, only illuminating part of her body, showing she was in a silk white night dress, while darkness engulfed the rest of her and her surrounding areas. She really shouldn't be wondering around this late but she couldn't sleep and wanted to do something. Besides being on stage might just comfort her and maker her more at ease.
Her full name is Olivia de Chagny but...She had changed it to Olivia Dubious to hide her identity. Even when her uncle comes here she dares not approaches him. She looks much like Raoul, not feature wise but hair and eyes are the same, which made some people actually look at her with wonder and slight dislike. Yes, being of the wealthy it was wrong for you do be a ballerina. Olivia though enjoyed dancing with a passion, but that was not her only talent no...She had another.
"Love, love changes everything hands and faces, earth and sky," she sang softly in a soft soprano voice that seemed not to hold much power in it. She didn't want it to either. To her her voice was dead, not holding any emotions or really much life in it though everyone applauds her when she use to sing. Now, she doesn't even rarely tries to sing. Dancing was what showed her true colors, and to her showed the true emotion of a piece not the darn singing; though everyone praises the singers for just singing.
Olivia didn't hate singers just hated how highly praise they wer eyet the ballerinas were all considered whores or what not. Well, not this ballerina no sirry. She hasn't even allowed any man to touch her at all nor did she think she'd ever...Well not then men that come to this Opera or work in the Opera. In the back of her mind there was a person or maybe a Ghost that always caught her interest...The murderer of many and yet this man still intrigued this young 21 year old woman. You ask who this man is? Well, he's the imfamous Phantom.
